I just wanted to send a quick update about Sophie. We have been in each other lives now for about 9 months and I have to say that she is still the best thing that ever happened to me. She is a great dog, that everyone loves. Even strangers talk about how pretty and well-behaved she is. I feel so proud.

We are still contending with her food allergies, but they are much better now that I have her on a non-grain, non-beef food. She also loves her occasional treat of peanut butter; especially the “frosty paws” - which makes her unusually territorial. What do they put in those things? I have never seen her be so smitten with a treat.

Anyway - I am attaching some recent photos - taken last week - and once again want to thank NEARR for helping me and Sophie to adjust to one another. She is the love of my life and I am grateful that she/NEARR picked me to be her mom.

Coco is doing great, her paws continue to heal and just the front right is the only one with any visible scars, her face is healed completely. She and my other dog, Big Bear, are doing good and even play together. She enjoys fishing at the lake and has made the adjustment to our family very easily. I will try to send some pictures next week….thank you all for Coco she is a great dog and a welcomed member of our home.
